ML School Armenia

Powered by Yandex School of Data Analysis

Two years of deep immersion in ML — from fundamental math and classical models to neural networks, LLMs, and industry challenges.

Why choose us
Who we’re looking for

The program is for technical university students and IT professionals who
want a deeper understanding
of ML and hands-on work with modern AI methods.

To pass the selection process you’ll need a foundation in linear algebra, calculus, probability, algorithms, and Python. Experience in ML, research, or olympiads is a plus.

Foundations, then the frontier
In short
First, you’ll build a strong foundation in math, algorithms, and classical ML. Then you’ll move on to deep learning, LLMs, GenAI, and other specializations. The advanced track covers CUDA, distributed training, and inference optimization.
In detail
  • Foundation: math for ML, algorithms, Python, C++ or Rust, classical ML
  • Deep learning: neural networks, transformers, generative models
  • Specializations: NLP, CV, recommender systems, speech, RL
  • Engineering track: CUDA, Go, distributed training, inference optimization
  • Practice: project work, research, and industry tasks
Don’t spend time repeating what you already know
If ML and algorithms were part of your degree program, you can have them credited and start advanced courses.
How ML works in real products
Engineers from Yandex and other tech companies share examples from ML systems they’ve worked on — architecture, data pipelines, and some of the reasoning behind key design choices.
Highlights
2 years with top experts
From the core track to advanced areas — with experts from YSDA, Yandex, and leading technical universities.
20–30 hours per week
Sessions take place a few evenings a week; the rest of the time is spent
on independent work.
In person in Yerevan
Most sessions happen in person, so you can work through hard topics together and talk directly with experts.
Multilingual
We bring together leading industry experts with classes delivered in Armenian, English, or Russian. Proficiency in all three languages is recommended to get the most out of the program.
How the selection process works
Online application

August 24 — September 12, 2026

Online testing

September 7–13, 2026

Before taking the test, review the instructions. The test includes eight math and algorithmic challenges. You’ll have two hours to complete each of them. We’ll email the results to the address in your application. Everyone who passes the test will be invited to the next stage.
Face-to-face interview

September 21–27, 2026

The interview takes place in Yerevan. We’ll email you the exact date and location after you pass the test.
Program start
